The Meaning Behind the Name

Entrepreneurship can be a lonely road.

As someone who is a middle child, an entrepreneur, and a black sheep, I understand the difficulties of feeling alone and overwhelmed by the task of managing a business or a large project. As a result, I wanted to help my fellow black sheep in their quests to make a difference in the world.

Hi, I’m Olivia!

Being a virtual assistant and business owner for the past 2+ years has been a fantastic experience. I have loved meeting and working with incredible people in various industries with unique missions.

I chose to become a virtual assistant because I have a genuine passion for administrative work, and I understand the challenges of juggling multiple roles at work. I aim to help others reduce their stress levels by assisting with organizational strategies, implementing new tools, and offering motivation.

With me by your side, you will accomplish more while enjoying your work day! To see what I can do for you, check out my services!

A few fun facts:

  • I love traveling

  • I have 3 cats: Bacardi, Groot, and Hailey

  • I’m a born and raised Floridian

Education, Experiences, and Certifications

Education

Bachelor of Science (BS), Animal Sciences
University of Florida · 2013 - 2016

  • Specialization in Equine Science

  • Minors in Extension Education and Management and Sales in Agribusiness

Master of Science (MS), Agronomy

University of Florida · 2016-2017 (Incomplete with 24 credits completed)

  • Specialization in Weed Science

  • My research involved optimizing glyphosate rates for the control of weedy grasses in bermudagrass hayfields.

In college, I worked at the equine, dairy, and beef research units. Above, you can see me with one of our research geldings during an evening feed at the Equine Science Center.

I’m a horse girl through and through, but the dairy and beef cattle quickly stole my heart, especially Ms. 8379. She always knew how to pose for the camera.

During my one-year stint in graduate school, I lived and worked at the Range Cattle Research and Education Center in Ona, Florida. My introduction to weed science involved harvesting perennial peanut and removing weeds from the collected samples.

Grad school taught me a great deal about research and scientific writing. I greatly appreciated the opportunity but found myself more excited about the animals I encountered on research trips than my thesis. It was a difficult decision to leave my program, but years later, I’m still confident it was the right move for me.
