I know the decision to hire a virtual assistant is not one to take lightly. To ensure you are making the best investment for your work and finances, I have provided the following answers to frequently asked questions.

  • A virtual assistant is a remote, contracted worker who offers administrative support for you and your business. They can do tasks that an executive assistant would typically handle, such as scheduling appointments, making phone calls, arranging travel, or organizing emails. Virtual assistants are employed by companies of all sizes and across many industries.

  • Virtual assistance retainer packages begin with a 15-hour per month minimum.

    Proofreading is $0.015/word

    Copyediting is $0.025/word

  • Yes, the total amount for the package you have requested will be due upfront, and no work will be completed until the invoice has been paid.

  • Yes! I love being able to support my clients in as many ways as I can. Plus, I love using all the skills I have and am good at, so you get it all.

  • I understand that your hours can “ebb and flow” throughout the month. Our goal is to come in at the contracted amount at the end of the month. If the hours go over, I simply bill the extra hours, but they do not roll over to the next month. During the onboarding process, we will evaluate your needs and choose a good amount of hours for the work needed.

  • I track my hours using Toggl, and each week I will provide you with a summary of the number of hours used and work completed.

  • I primarily work Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm EST. If you need me outside of that timeframe, we can see if our schedules would align well for us to be a good match.

  • Because I work with multiple clients throughout the day, my response time is 24 hours. If an emergency task arises, please be aware that I may need 24-48 hours to rearrange my schedule, if possible, to coordinate and complete the task.
